How the night goes
Dinner first. Then the room changes.
Come at seven and you get the quiet half: pizza out of the oven, a bottle open, the guitar being tuned two metres away.
By half past eight the tables have filled and the volume has come up. By ten somebody at the next table is singing a chorus they did not know they remembered. Nobody is asked to leave, nobody is charged at the door, and the kitchen sends plates out until half past eleven.
If you want the seats where you can see the players properly, say so when you book. Those go first at the weekend.

Before you come
The music questions
What time does the music start?
From 19:30, running through dinner until about 22:30.
Is there a cover charge?
No. Entry is free and there is no ticket. You only need a table.
Can we sit near the stage?
Ask when you book. Those tables are the first to go on Friday and Saturday.
Is it too loud to talk?
Midweek, no. Friday and Saturday get properly lively, which is usually the point.
Can we bring a big group?
Yes. Birthdays, hen and stag nights and work dinners happen here every week. Call ahead and the team will arrange the table.
